Dewin was founded in 1985 in San Giuseppe Vesuviano as a clothing leather goods, shoes, purses and general accessories manufacturing and sales company. In 1992 the company registered its trademark “Dewin”.

After many successes in the Italian market, thanks to its participation in NAPOLIFILIERAMODA in 1997, the company opened to markets abroad through its first contacts with buyers for established companies in Belgium, Greece, Usa and Japan. In 2000 the “EX-BIT” trademark was created to target a young and trendy clientele.

In 2003 the company moved to its new location in the Interporto di Nola offering 4000 square metres to clients with a wide area for merchandise deposit. The location wan planed with great attention to detail, with a large area to host clients and suppliers, two showrooms for viewing both the Autumn/Winter and the Spring/Summer collections, and a style office where prototypes are created and where a team of experts designs and creates particular items.

In 2005 ex-bit opened a showroom in the Centergross of Bologna in order to promote the brand worldwide.
